Law Enforcement and Animal Control Assistance

Agencies We Assist

AIR works with Law Enforcement  and Animal Control to assist communities with limited resources to pursue animal cruelty and neglect cases.

Resources We Provide

AIR helps communities understand the current animal welfare laws, assists law enforcement in building cases against abusers, provides skilled Responders to staff and run emergency sheltering while animals are in custody, and works with placement partners to get the animals into safe, reputable rescue organizations. Our services are at no cost to the requesting agency.

Functions We Facilitate

Our services allow local resources to reach farther with their investigations and enforcement, particularly in circumstances that exceed local capabilities. Here are a few examples of how our Responders help day-to-day:

Disaster Relief

Animal Investigation & Response (AIR) has certified Emergency Responders who can function under ICS, national and state protocols in dealing with natural disaster relief. AIR provides communities with resources, manpower and equipment to staff an emergency shelter.  AIR can also provide veterinary support and networking assistance for displaced animals in the community to reunite individuals with their lost animals. Our services are at no cost to the requesting agency.
